INJURY SCREENING

Injuries happen in gymnastics. But the risk can be minimized.

Work with a health care provider who understands gymnastics and who's helped hundreds of people become injury-free.

4 STEP PROCESS:

1

We get to know each other.

We'll chat about your goals, your gymnastics and your injury history.

Knowing what skills you do is important to personalize your plan to make sure you have the prerequisites needed to do the skills you're performing.

2

In-Person Assessment

We'll go through head-to-toe assessments of your strength, flexibility, and basic core gymnastics skills, and correlate that to your current skills and injury history to see if you are lacking any areas that may expose you to injuries.

3

Your Game-Plan

Leave with a game plan of what exercises to perform and when in order to address your areas of improvement.

You'll get access to a follow-along chart and visuals to help you remember how to do the exercises. In addition, Dr. Sarah is only a text/call away!

4

Follow-Up

Depending on what we find in your assessment, we can follow up for things such as tracking specific measurements for progress, maintenance soft tissue work for recovery, or a strength & conditioning program.

Justin

"Sarah was great to work with. Very professional, responsive, and flexible on scheduling with us. My daughter (16) is a varsity and club gymnast who was looking to relieve some residual pain in her knee, and just before our first appointment, my daughter wound up injuring her foot/ankle on a vault landing. Sarah took the time to really understand what my daughter was dealing with, where the problem areas were, and to just connect with her as a person (and former gymnast herself)... This was 1-on-1 time spent for the full session, unlike most PT facilities where you are 1 of 2 or 3 other patients where the therapist has to split their time. Sarah understands what it takes to be a high-level gymnast, and the exercises/tests/program were all designed with the challenging moves in mind that my daughter will need to be capable of to return to her gymnastics without limitations. We are highly satisfied and would 100% work with Sarah again."
