1:1 GYMNASTICS SPECIFIC
PHYSICAL THERAPY

How can physical therapy be "gymnastics-specific?"

1

Dr. Sarah speaks gymnastics

Gymnastics is a language and a lifestyle. Having a healthcare provider speak it and understand it is essential for gymnasts rehabbing an injury.

We'll talk specifics about how you got hurt, what skills make your pain worse/better, and different mats/surfaces you can use to participate in practice.

2

Exercises mimic gymnastics skills

In order to return to gymnastics post-injury, your body should be exposed to similar forces/ movements that will happen over and over again when you return to gymnastics.

Rest assured that from the first session, Dr. Sarah will know every skill you are training so your body is prepared to do them again.

3

Gradual exposure back to gymnastics with a plan of exactly what to do

Just because you're cleared to return to gymnastics does not mean you're ready to go full force.

Dr. Sarah will give you a specific plan with recommendations on how many skills to perform on what events in order to safely return and avoid rebound injuries.

What to Expect

1:1 Care

Most PT clinics hand you off to unlicensed staff for part of your session. At Stronger Performance PT, your entire session is with Dr. Sarah. Uninterrupted, focused, and productive time. Because you deserve it.

Constant Support

Your contact with Dr. Sarah doesn't end when you walk out the door. Dr. Sarah welcomes texts/emails with any questions or concerns you may have. You're never alone throughout the rehab process.

To be Pushed

We're proud to be located inside of a gym so we have access to plenty of equipment to strengthen the body and make for a safe return.

A Safe Place

In a sport where the culture is evolving, you can trust that Dr. Sarah will provide the highest level of care, compassion and respect. Your daughter/son may be a gymnast, but they are human first. Their needs will be heard.

Take it from Justin's review: "Sarah took the time to really understand what my daughter was dealing with... and to just connect with her as a person (and former gymnast herself).... My daughter was very comfortable going to these sessions..."

In order to provide the necessary care, attention, and resources that you deserve, we do not directly take insurance.

We'll provide you with everything you need to submit for reimbursement to your insurance.

Justin

"Sarah was great to work with. Very professional, responsive, and flexible on scheduling with us. My daughter (16) is a varsity and club gymnast who was looking to relieve some residual pain in her knee, and just before our first appointment, my daughter wound up injuring her foot/ankle on a vault landing. Sarah took the time to really understand what my daughter was dealing with, where the problem areas were, and to just connect with her as a person (and former gymnast herself)... This was 1-on-1 time spent for the full session, unlike most PT facilities where you are 1 of 2 or 3 other patients where the therapist has to split their time. Sarah understands what it takes to be a high-level gymnast, and the exercises/tests/program were all designed with the challenging moves in mind that my daughter will need to be capable of to return to her gymnastics without limitations. We are highly satisfied and would 100% work with Sarah again."
